Birdie'S soap~手工皂/母乳皂/handmade soap

前陣子上英文會話課，老師要我們自已選擇一個topic來分享簡報，

同事就建議我可以說說手工皂，

原本很苦惱，因為手工皂有些專有名詞讓我很頭大

不過，在完成簡報後也讓我有了一些小小的收穫，

就是關於Taiwan Swirl technique ~~渲染皂

那時一直在找渲染皂的英文到底怎麼講，

意外發現很多外國網站都寫成「taiwan swirl」

在一個網上看到

「This beautiful technique is called the ‘Taiwan Swirl’ because of the first YouTube video that showcased this style of soapmaking. 」

讓我大吃一驚，原來渲染皂是台灣人發明的！！

後來在簡報FAQ時，我問了一些小小的有獎徵答，

也送了一塊渲染皂給了英國帥哥老師Dan，

Dan就問這個皂的造型是怎麼畫的呢？就像葉子一樣，

就用前一天準備的資料來回答：

Mix the oil with Lye solution and  stir it well,

then you can add some fragrances or herbs,

These mixtures need more stirring and

stick blending to reach trace   

(trace is when oils and lye water have emulsified ~like pudding.)

Then make three different colors of soap ,

put the soap mixture in the mold ( like a straight line) 

and draw a "S",(use the thermometer  or rubber spatulas).

About 2 or 3 days After the soap has hardened,

Remove the soap from the mold, cut in to bars and dry out for 4 to 6 weeks.

Then we can use the soap.

之後跟老師說可以自已上網google 「Taiwan swirl」就可以查到怎麼做的~~~哈哈！草草結束~~~
